Dallas Bartolini: You will probably have to buy a 6 pack in a supermarket or at a bottle store. You may be able to buy a single bottle over the counter at pubs or bars.Check your recipe as often the beer can go into a pot if you are doing a stew etc.
Indira Wassell: Yuengling Black and Tan. It's pretty cheap and the flavor is good. I live in NY and find it everywhere. It's made in Philadelphia.
Hipolito Rightmire: Guinness stout is a dark beer found in more places than any other dark beer. Guinness beers are reasonably priced.
Wally Perrien: It's not really a dark beer, but I've used Killian's for marinade and had good results. You could also add a drizzle of molasses to the marinade to get a similar result.
Madlyn Fallis: That's pretty much it. If you think Guinness is expensive, you're out of luck unless you brew your own beer. You can try buying just one can of it, though, at a convenience store.
