Byron Fortmann: This is a great question, and one that has been the source of confusion for me for quite some time.
Porfirio Cahall: I discover a glue gun and glitter paintings good and usually keep on for a REALLY very long time!!! Draw out horse/pony identify or anything you desire to wright in pencil or biro, then glue gun one letter and sprinkle with glitter then the following letter and glitter. Practice on tin foil first to get your system/ stress proper. best do one letter at a time given that the glue units speedily and the glitter is not going to then keep. (p.s use quality glitter) wish that is helping! have Fun!!! ;zero)...Show more
Davida Gisriel: Pink Equine sells brilliant browbands with crystals on, they're gorgeous! You could also use shiny material or ribbon and wrap it around your brownband.
Toney Flaten: I prefer girls who possess a natural look... sure makeup and also other things are good, but when it is used to enhance your own natu! ral look.
Willie Tun: Maybe that's right
Dorethea Beaston: my grandma decorated her tack and it turned out looking really good and it has all stayed on. shes had it like that for a few yrs now. she got some gonchos from a saddle shop and then used a hole puncher to punch where she wanted them on her bridle and breastrap. then she screwed them in with some screws( i don't really know what they're called but they connect...kinda hard to explain) you could go to a saddle shop and they might be able to help you out. but it would be even simpler to just use a hot glue gun. shes gonna be decorating one of her headstalls again and that's what shes gonna do because once they're glued on with a hot glue gun they're stuck for yrs to come. she says you can just go to walmart or any store with a sewing section and get the rhinestones or crystals that you want and hot glue them onto your tack. now i cannot guarantee it will work seeing as we haven't tried it yet but were goi! ng to because the glue won't ruin the leather and the worst th! at could happen would be that they wouldn't stay...however that's really, REALLY not likely because a hot glue gun really sticks things on. well i hope this helps.:)...Show more
David Boehler: Brief, and clean. women with long nails never clean under thier nails because often as they should. Basically if you have long nails your should scrub under them as often because you wash your hands. nurses inside california are not allowed to grow thier nails longer than half an inch because they found that these people were giving patients infections of germs and other crap.
Shon Almquist: I don't know any ideas for saddles but I DID come up with an idea for headstalls and breast straps. I bought a small container of assorted colorful rhinestones, a little bag of crystal ones, a mini hot glue gun, and some glue sticks. (It cost me less than $15 at Wal-Mart.) You don't have to do this, but I measured my tack out--ruler, hands, or cord, they all work--and put a dot where I! wanted the rhinestones using a marker before I started gluing. You obviously know to be careful and not burn yourself. I held each stone in between my fingertips using my nails, applied the glue, quickly stuck it on, pressed down, and then removed the glue string. How often you replace your stones depends on how many stones you put on your tack and the riding conditions, since branches or the usual wear and tear might brush or tear them off.My reins and breast strap are hot pink but my headstall is black, so I used a pale pink centerpiece with crystal spacers and darker pink accents. I put the stones on my headstall, between where its buckle strap ends and the bit, and on the middle of my breast strap--on each side, if yours is split. You can do your pattern any way you wish, with any colors or shapes, but I put mine like this.Headstall: A large pale pink oval in the center and on either side is a small crystal circle, followed by a medium darker pink rectangle and three s! mall crystal circles. Between the end of the buckle straps and bit is a! rectangle between two crystals. (I held the sides of the headstall together after marking the buckled side so I was sure it would match up evenly with the unbuckled side. Only then did I begin gluing.)Breast strap: Mine is split (barrel racing, not a solid band) and so I did both sides, starting in the middle of each. In the center is a large oval with three crystals on either side. I could have used more stones to take up more space, but I didn't want to have to replace that many. On either side of the ring I put a crystal stone to draw attention further towards the middle. A week earlier, I had found a leather cross with scalloped edges and a silver Texas symbol--so I put this cross on another ring, hooked it onto my breast strap's ring so that it swung when my horse walked, and put a crystal on the end of each of its four corners....Show more
