NASCAR fans, do you care who the crew chief is on your team.?

Rose Krouse: I know. I just got through watching qualifying. His couch better be comfortable. He can watch the race with Riggs

Shawn Lelis: A crew chief can make or break a driver. So yeah, I care, but not so much about records, if they can get the job done, they can get the job done.

Launa Weingarten: That sucks. JJ is a cool dude.I wonder who is troll the got my question reported. I hate that.

Roselee Mczeal: DuPont is no longer a primary sponsor. The Rainbow was a showcase of the colors of paint offered.

Shaunta Paap: This is probably a rather stupid question, but I've always been curious. For example, when there is a driver's car equipped with an onboard camera, and they have a wreck in front of them, how does the camera follow the wreck? In other words, it's not just a stationary camera view, instead the camera follows the actual car that wrecks. How is the camera capable of following the action?

Veta Slicker: Yes, where is MA......?! ???LOLYo quiero no qualify.Bestest MA couch potato ever!!!!!...Show more

Chris Coggins: Because that's where he's going to be watching the race from.

Lourie Mcroberts: Of course you have to care ! You have to get a crew chief that knows how to set the cars up for different tracks and weather conditions. A driver can only do so much with a bad car!

Myron Leftwich: Yes, he is like the whole coaching staff on a football team, driver-crew chief chemistry is IMPORTANT...a young driver and a veteran crew chief for instance are a good pairing because the veteran can reel in his young driver when need be...this is an example of chemistry...chemistry takes a long time to develop and it's tough to get back...it's developed by long relationships like Kenseth had with Robby Reiser and now he's with a new chief...now he trying to get that back...that is why some drivers are not as dominat as they were, they have not developed chemistry with crew chiefs yet....Show more!

Inell Riesgo: yes I miss Robbie Reiser...

Robt Be! tker: Probably not very comfortable...I actually wish Riggs made it

Tyree Allenbrand: Yes I care. And as much as I like the guy (Tony Jr), Dale Jr wouldn't be on a 75 race winless streak right now. And he wouldn't have wrecked yesterday. Tony Jr needs to learn that qualifying MATTERS. You qualify decent, you don't end up in the back with the filler cars, you don't end up in their wreck.

Vern Serratos: JJ is a good guy, but he ain't NASCAR top division. stick with the nationwide series

Lillie Yarde: Very comfy. I am sure it is shaped like a Nascar, his couch. He will spend some time in it. Oh, but remember according to troll he was going to win the race. Ha!

Tracy Huesso: Fluffy, no one's ever accused me of playing nice.

Ofelia Kieck: Hmm kinda wonder if we're going to hear from a certain troll again for awhile.

Tomi Vauters: Probably getting comfy under the same rock!! LOL!

Jayson Brod: i care about the crew chief.they're one! of the most important people on the team.they have to tell the driver what's going on.they make alot of huge decisions for the team.

Pasty Cobbett: Nope. He did drive once for the All Star Race in 2005 I believe but that was the last time. In a way DuPont has to be involved in that decision since it is their scheme, but with them not even being the primary sponsor these days...

Johnnie Pummill: Teams are only as good as the weakest link. Crew managers are imperative, if you have a sloppy team manager your crew becomes the weakest link. A driver needs a crew that works well together, is organized and quick.

Roxane Leathers: i think he going to be a real good driver one give him a chance he does not have the team to win with and last week at NH he came in 3rd

Brian Marquina: Of course I care about the crew chief on my team. He is the man making the decisions. Sometimes good then I love him and sometimes not so good and I have to resist the urge to t! hrow things at my TV. Yes is is equivelant to the head coach in other ! sports, the assistant coach and the defensive coach along with the special teams coach and even the team mascott all rolled into one guy. So yes the crew cheif is extremely important to the team.

Dick Ovdenk: Maybe most likely a one race thing.

Terrell Lawman: That does suck for JJ. His sponsor is not gonna stick around long. Rumor had it they are talking to MWR, possible UPS replacement, if they leave

Betsey Muehlbach: I only care who the crew chief is when it comes to how the crew chief, driver and team work together. If they work well, who cares what their name is?

Sharron Salin: Only thing I'll add to the info above is that there's a small team of people stuck inside the tv trailer that operate the camera controls. It's not just one person.

Ninfa Aronica: It was and always will be my favorite paint scheme and that of many others I am sure. Does anyone know if he ever will go back to driving it full time or just even for one race again?

Ivan Velazquez: that's a brilliant drawback. that's all regarding the chemistry. that's like all and sundry in daily existence, you have various individuals which you already know, yet then you definately've some superb buddies who you savour speaking with. often your superb buddies are individuals that merely get you and you do no longer possibly ought to breakdown each little component for them. Thats how a good race team will paintings besides. maximum drivers would evaluate their team chief as a superb buddy. With the #40 8 and #24, the two those communities are so good that they are able to circulate without the conventional team chief for a handful of races and nevertheless submit fantastically good outcomes. different communities at the instant are not on that time, in the event that they lose their head guy on the pit field for a month or so, it ought to smash their entire season....Show more

Maynard Phoubandith: There's a guy sitting in a trailer tracksi! de with a monitor and a joystick and manually controls the camera.

Madge Voice: probably a place where i wouldn't want to be at this time!! i bet he has kicked it a few tims along with Riggs

Freddy Shutler: Yes. I care because a crew chief can help or hurt the team.

George Dingeldein: There is a helicopter that circles the track which has instruments that relay the information from the cars to the producer's booth. The producers actually have a joystick that can control the cameras individually. Every once in a while there is a low cloud cover, and the helicopter is grounded, and there are no shots from on board cameras.

Cody Shimko: If NASCAR would quit getting so expensive I'm sure a lot of sponsors would come back to the sport.
