Bernadette Roel: Accelerated warranties are on no account valued at a dime. So long as you follow the reccomended company service in the homeowners manual your Corolla will have to last you a good 10 years fear free. The improved assurance charges can range, a good rule of thumb while you go to the financing officer is to assert NO to the whole thing, you simply bought a brand new auto, and the factory guarantee will likely be greater than ample.
Maurice Breuning: This is a perfect example of why I never have and never will ever recommend that anyone use any of the franchise or chain type auto repair shops.Personally, I never recommend that people use any of the franchise or chain type auto repair shops as well as dealers. The first two many times use poorly trained "mechanics" or young people with limited experience whose training is usually more focused on sales than mechanical work.Dealers are way too expensive due to their high overheads.Go to an independent auto! repair shop and you'll get good service at a fair price with a minimum of hassle.Independent shops don't try to up sell you on "services" that were unheard of just a few years ago and are for the most part, useless.Realistically, it's very unlikely that you need any of the services that they've recommended and even if you did need some service, it could likely be completed for less than a hundred dollars. The only service your car needs is specifically indicated in your owner's manual. Just go to the vehicle service schedule and perform the maintenance spelled out there.Nothing else is necessary or even desirable, let alone of any value....Show more
Dexter Dingus: you can do all of them yourself with very little knowledge. but for an 07, none of them should be needed. MAYBE? your belt might need to be replace. and MAYBE? your air filter. i would say take it elsewhere and get a second opinion.
Salvatore Walls: That's all stuff you can DIY. $380 for that is outr! ageous. The most important thing to replace is the serpintine b! elt, not the coolant.Forget the PS flush. Just add some PS fluid. That's completely unnecessary.Your looking at roughly $100 for the parts at any auto store.Don't forget to replace the fuel filter.Check the condition of your radiator hoses before you put new coolant in. If they look worn and cracked at all replace them....Show more
