Benita Nancy: Prices are increasing in the current economy, but the train is a good way to get around. Generally, there are discounts available on individual tickets for early reservations or taking the slower regional trains can be cheaper, but take a lot of extra time and require chenges to go longer distances. ! Marylee Lucks: Travelling by train is a great idea for europe. Its much more comfortable than flying and you don't have to wait for check in, plus it takes from one city centre to other city centre..All these positive sides come with a negative one of course.. "the prices" the might cost more than travelling by plane. Get an Interrail pass or Eurail pass. they will give you freedom to go where, and when you want....Show more
